Opposing Forces

Name:
Location: Chicago, Il, United States

Born and raised in the heart of the Chicago Daley Machine where politics are our mother's milk. I spent 8 years in the U.S. Army, enlisting as an Infantryman and later working in Military Intelligence for four year. I also attended college while serving majoring in History. I've lived an eclectic life that have helped shape my life and views. I'm politically conservative by nature, having identified myself as a conservative as early as 16. My personal motto which I've tried to follow for over 40 years is: "Let me strive every moment of my life to make myself better and better, to the best of my ability, that all may profit by it. Let me think of the right and lend all my assistance to those who need it, with no regard for anything but justice. Let me take what comes with a smile, without loss of courage. Let me be considerate of my country, of my fellow citizens and my associates in everything I say and do. Let me do right to all, and wrong no man."

What a colossal goat fuck.

Syria

What a colossal goat fuck.

And there is no right thing to do. There's not even much of a choice between lesser evils.

A brutal hereditary dictator on one hand and the "rebels" most of whom have pledged allegiance to Al-Qaeda and or the Muslim Brotherhood which means that if the rebels win the next regime will be as if not more repressive than the Assad government. Prudence would say to stay the hell out of there. But then there are stockpiles of Chemical and Biological weapons, (some of which use to belong to the late Saddam Hussein).

Assad is using them in desperation and Øbama has drawn his Red Line. And the world can't afford for them to fall into the hands of Al-Qaeda and other terrorists.

Øbama track record of foreign affairs has been a disaster. Our current Secretary of State is a buffoon, no better than and possibly worse than Hillary if that's possible. The State department is riddled with liberal socialists, incompetence, drug runners, prostitution, visionaries of a new world order that is most decidedly opposing America's interests, our Constitution and sovereignty.

America is too weary of fighting, especially for a people that is ungrateful, generally hate us and will in the end denounce anything we do and believe us to be the Great Satan.

America is again in the possess of reducing it's military, purging it's leaders and it's undesirables in the ranks, those knuckle dragging, bible reading, conservative thinking men and women that have always traditionally answered America's call in the liberal hope that if America is too weak to go to war then it won't. Under Obama, military moral has plummeted. By 2016 it will again be a hollow army that it was in the 1970 under Jimmy Carter.

All of which leaves us with damn little we can do even if there was any good choices.

Possible the best course would be to go in, go in hard and destroy what ever we can of the Assad WMD stockpiles and production and get the hell out. If there was any lesson learned in Iraq and Afghanistan it was that nation building is not always possible. Do what is necessary and get the hell out with a warning that we can always come back and do it again. Leave the people to pick up the pieces. Maybe they will be wiser for it.

So many scandals so many things to say. Going back to Fast & Furious and up to the latest Megadata collection by Prism just so much to catch up with.

Well lets start with the latest

Just what can be learned from Megadata Mining.

Obama insists that his administration isn't reading our email or listening to our calls, (except for certain key words like bomb, al Qaeda, guns, and a list of other "watch words) and will go to the FISA Courts if they need a warrant.

So what else can they deduce from your internet and phone activities?

Well all sorts of things. They know what sites you visit. Lets say you read a story about abortion or gun rights, maybe visit a petition site and then you make a series of calls from your phone to your congressman, senators, maybe a few of your friends and they make calls to their congressmen and senators. Then they cross check you with public information like what party you are registered with. Well they don't have to be geniuses to figure out what you were talking about in your calls or emails, (and remember under the law all of your emails that are over 6 months old are considered public information, that you no longer can expect privacy. Just think about how many emails you have in your in box that are over 6 months old. Hell I have some emails going back to 2000). No need to get a warrant to hear every syllable that you said. They can see how often you do these activities, how much of your day you spend doing it. It's not hard using your phone records and social media sites to learn the names of everyone that is in your support network.

They can see if you've looked up a medical condition or prescription medicine and then they see that you've made a couple calls to your physician. They and connect the dots. Lets say that you are checking on antidepressant side effects, make a call to your doctor. Then cross reference your name to see if you've been issued a FOID card? You might not even be checking on your own medication or condition but for a loved one. Remember liberal logic is that you shouldn't have firearms if you open your home to someone with mental illness, even if they are under medication. Your sister uses anti anxiety medication and you own firearms. Your sister sometimes visits your home. To some extremists that is all that is needed to take your second amendment rights away.

Anyway any and all this information could trigger retaliation from this administration. Maybe that random audit wasn't so random at all. Maybe that visit by the State Police, who say they have an anonymous source and they need to check on your weapons and who has access. Maybe it's not so anonymous.

It's fine that the government has the power to keep us safe from terrorists, power with checks and balances but snooping on ever person with internet access and a cell phone is a net cast to far. Especially for an administration that has been shown to use the power of the government to suppress political activity and punish people that dissent to their views and goals.

My apologies, it's been way way too long since I've posted my thoughts. Ah the seduction of Facebook and other social media.

But I feel the need to again post my thoughts here and I hope to make at least one post one various things per day from here on.
